I felt like I knew Garritt in three different manifestations. First as a child and youth, when he was active in the Church with his family. Then, i knew him as a Christian minister and evangelist. He came and visited us in Eastern Kentucky, the heart of Appalachia. He got his credentials from here in Indiana (which I did not know previously). Then, when back in Circleville, we always touched base when back in that area. I know my son Paul and I stayed overnight with them while taking him to College. He was always active in his faith, abundant in generosity, and anxious to do what pleased the Lord. He deserves richly the commendation, "Well done, good and faithful servant: enter into the Joy of your Lord!"

I was sad to hear of Garritt's passing. What a impact he had in so many ways. He was a friend to our family. May you know God's comfort and grace as you grieve and rejoice knowing he is with his Lord in heaven. God bless you.

I offer you my deepest sympathy.

May God dry your tears with the soothing touch of his love and heal your grief with his gentle presence.
