Yvonne Jones

YVONNE JONES Middletown, N.Y. Yvonne Jones, an LPN and longtime resident of the area, entered into rest at Orange Regional Medical Center - Horton Campus on Tuesday December 28, 2004 after a heroic fourteen month battle with a rare form of lung cancer. She was 54 years young. The daughter of the late Hector Seda and Dolores Seda, she was born July 11, 1950 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. A family statement reads, "She was an endearing wife, adoring mother, caring daughter, devoted Nanny, beautiful sister, loving aunt and a good friend. Her greatest pleasures in life were spending time with her children and grandchildren, her metticulous appearance and love for shopping. She will be cherished forever in our memories and never forgotten... "WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, OUR HEART HURTS." Surviving her are her adoring husband, Stanley Jones, at home; two daughters: Angela Maresca and her husband, Jack and Cynthia Pfeifer and her husband, Stephen; her only son, Lonny Jones; her mother, Dolores Seda; six grandchildren: Brentley, Makayla and Hannah Pfeifer and Cassandra, Elaine and Anthony Maresca; two brothers: Hector and Jimmy Seda; one sister, Dinah Curkin; three nieces: Dawn, Elisa and Lauren; two nephews: Eric and Elbin and her faithful canine friend, Benji. She was predeceased by her father, Hector Seda. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, N.Y. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 1 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Richard Trapani of St. Joseph's Church, Middletown, officiating. Burial will follow in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd., Goshen, N.Y. Arrangements made under the direction of Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home
