Thomas V. Sabatano

Thomas V. Sabatano, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Northern Manor Geriatric Center in Nanuet, NY. He was 77 years of age.

   The son of the late Thomas & Marian Doremus Sabatano, he was born on January 16, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY.

  Tom was a graduate of Valley Central High School, New Paltz and Julliard. He was a professional drummer and a member of the Musicians Union in NYC. He formerly worked with his father in their service station in Walden.

     Survivors include his wife, Sarah B. Sabatano at home in Walden; and two cousins.

     Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh, NY.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
