Tedd L. Klein

Tedd L. Klein age 68 passed away in the early hours of November 8, 2022 surrounded by his family; Lisa his devoted wife, Jordan and Zachary his loving sons, who all loved him beyond measure. Tedd was born on October 20, 1954 in Far Rockaway New York to Muriel and Benjamin Klein. After graduating from Far Rockaway High School in 1972, he attended Syracuse University and graduated in 1976. When he came home he met his future wife Lisa Kinigson and he realized they had both attended high school together. Lisa already knew this because she had the biggest crush on him. In Tedd’s words he thought, “I’m going to ask her on a date; we’re going to date for a year; be engaged for a year and then we will be married”

Tedd continued his education and received his MBA from Hofstra University in 1977. After several years and different jobs, he joined his father in his jewelry business. This was always a dream of his, and eventually Tedd branched out and started his own jewelry business. As his business and territory grew, he convinced Lisa they should move so he wouldn’t need to be away from home as much. In October 1984 they moved to Middletown in upstate New York. This proved to be an excellent place to raise their growing family. The sense of community and belonging was ideal. Tedd expanded his territory and was away from home even more. Go figure……. Tedd loved working, traveling and meeting customers who all became his friends. He was the most honest and honorable person one could hope to meet. His word was his bond. In his words, he came, he saw, he sold!

Tedd is survived by his wife Lisa who he loved beyond measure.In his last days he asked all who visited to take care of her. He is also survived by his first born son Jordan of Middletown New York, his younger son Zachary (Noa) of Lauderhill Florida and his grandchildren Chaim, Mimi and Estie. He loved them so much and they loved their Dada. He was so proud of his sons. They grew up to be fine men because of him.

Tedd is also survived by his brother Howard (Jackie), his sister Beth (Richard), his brother in law Marc (Ellen) his sister in law Tina, nieces and nephews Stacey (Gregg), Robyn (Tim), Jonathan, Andrew (Sabina), Johanna, Joshua (Brittney) and great nephews and nieces, Mason, Sophie, Alexis, Spencer, Shane, Julia, Caleb and Oliver as well as many loving and dear friends. Tedd was predeceased by his parents, Muriel & Benjamin Klein and his in-laws, Mildred & Solomon Kinigson, who he was devoted to.

Tedd was a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday November 10th at Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY. Burial will follow at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Circleville, NY.
