Susan Bedford

     Susan Bedford, a 62 year area resident, entered into rest on Monday, August 19, 2024 at her home in New Hampton, NY. She was 80 years of age.

     The daughter of the late Albert C. & Helen Perri, she was born on June 16, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY.

     Susan had been employed as a medical secretary for Dr. Ira Neustadt of Goshen, NY.

She was a member of the Sampler Stitching Group.

    Survivors include: her husband, Benjamin B. Bedford at home in New Hampton; her sons, Stephen A. Bedford of New Hampton and Christopher A. Bedford and his wife Charlene of Carbondale, PA; two grandchildren, Christopher Bedford and Matthew Bedford; her brother, Albert Perri and his wife Dolores of Washingtonville, NY; a niece,  Aimee Brown and her husband William; and four great nephews. Susan was predeceased by her parents, Albert C. and Helen Perri.

     Cremation took place at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh, NY.

     Memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s name to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
