Seymour Neiter, a resident of Bronx, NY, died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, NY. He was 96 years of age.
The son of the late Azrael and Hannah Chirikils Neiter, he was born on January 12, 1922 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Seymour was a self-employed dog groomer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II and was the recipient of a Purple Heart. Seymour was also a member of the D.A.V.
Survivors include his two nephews, Barry Zuckerman and his wife Marie of Middletown, NY and Martin Zuckerman and his wife Susan of Highland, Utah; several great nephews and a great niece; one great great nephew. Seymour was predeceased by his sister Lee Zuckerman and her husband Adolph.
Graveside Services with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 10595. Rabbi Joel Schwab will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
