Sandra Faye Magie

Sandra Faye Magie, aged 88, passed away on January 26, 2025, in Sun City Center, FL.  The daughter of the late Frank and Delores Brodt Morgan, she was born on March 24, 1936 in Middletown, NY.  She was baptized and spent many years attending services at First Congregational Church of Middletown.  She graduated from Middletown High School in 1953.  Sandra dedicated 30 years to Horton Memorial Hospital as a Central Services Technician, where she was respected for her diligence and care.  Sandra moved to Zephyrhills, FL in 2011 and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, watching game shows and doing her word searches.  She loved the holidays and especially Christmas. 

    Sandra is survived by her sisters, Carol (Donald) Decker and Darlene Kurz; daughters, Dawn (Matt) Taylor and Deborah (Mike) Thomas; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; many nieces/nephews and other loving family.  She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Magie; son, Dion Magie; her parents, Delores and Frank Morgan; her sister, Donna Sherman; and her brother, Gary Morgan. 

    Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, located at 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 8th at 10am at the funeral home, followed by burial at Wallkill Cemetery.
