Robert W. Walker

Robert W. Walker, a one year resident of Waterville, NY and former longtime resident of Wurtsboro, NY, entered into rest on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the University Hospital SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY. He was 62 years of age.

     Robert was born on June 13, 1958 in Middletown, NY.

   Robert was an electronics technician working for Chromalloy Middletown for many years and most recently for Pratt/Whitney in Middletown. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from August 16, 1977 to October 5, 1992.

    Survivors include; his mother, Myrtle Walker of Otisville; his loving wife, Kim J. Walker at home in Waterville; his children, Tiffany D. Walker and Joshua A. Walker both of Stoney Beach, MD; his step-children, Erin K. Allen of Virginia, Kelly J. Baudendistel and her husband Ryan of Cuddebackville and Jacqulyne R. Turfler of Waterville; his 4 grandchildren, Kahleb, Zoey, Kendall and Maddy-J; his sister, Debra Cambareri and her husband Dominick of Otisville; and 3 nieces, Ashleigh, Alana and Alyssa.

     A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 - 6 PM Wednesday, March 3rd at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY.

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks and social distancing will be required. There are occupancy limitations, so a wait time may be experienced to enter the funeral home. 

   Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

   Memorial contributions in Robert’s name may be made to any U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs program found on line.

 Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
