Robert H Meltzer

Robert H. Meltzer, of Middletown NY and formerly of New York City passed away peacefully at Sapphire Nursing Home in Goshen, NY on October 14, 2021.  He was 74 years old.  Robert was born on July 22, 1947 in Bronx, NY to the late Henley G. and Nathalie E. Rockower Meltzer.  Robert was in the sales side of the fashion industry for many years. He was also a distinctive runner. An early member of the NYC Road Runners club,  Robert  ran the NYC marathon ten times. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. 

Robert is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Carol Meltzer Klein and Phillip Klein of Middletown, brother and sister-in-law, Steven Meltzer and Terry Knurr of New York City. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Rebecca Klein of Middletown, Laura Meltzer of New York City and Daniel Klein also of New York City. He is also survived by his very dear friend, Ronni Meltzer.

He was predeceased by his nephew, Michael Klein of Middletown

Graveside services will be held on Sunday October 17, 2021 at 1:30 PM at the Temple Sinai Cemetery in Circleville, NY.
