Robert Fox Obituary

Robert Arthur Fox, a 51year area resident, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at his home in Middletown, NY. He was 85 years of age.

The son of the late Robert Charles and Evelyn Marguerite Fox, he was born on March 29, 1938 in Hume, NY.

Bob retired as Fleet Manager for the Mobil Oil Company. He was an avid dirt track racer and part of the Fox & McKee Race Team for 36 years, racing mostly at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown.

Survivors include: his children, Robert “Mike” Fox and his significant other, Lisa of Otisville, and Stephanie L. Fairweather and her husband Henry of Middletown; his granddaughter, Ryan Nichole Green and husband Kurt of Glen Spey; and great grandson Kamden Green; several nieces & nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, brother Pat Fox and sister Sallie Bolia.

Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Middletown, 142 Bloomingburg Road, Middletown, NY 10940 or to Pets Alive, 363 Derby Road, Middletown, NY 10940.
