Rachel Lea "Renee" Woolf

Rachel Lea "Renee" Woolf, a 55 year area resident, died Friday, July 24, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 86 years of age.

The daughter of the late Elias and Sara Witjas Goldberg, she was born on May 19, 1929 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Renee was a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown.

Survivors include: her husband, Dr. George Woolf at home in Middletown; her daughter, Chantal Schwartz and her husband Neil of Hollywood, FL; her son Andrew Woolf and his wife Serra of New York City; her three grandchildren, Jesse Schwartz, Daniel Schwartz and Aiden Woolf; her sister Edith Brooks of San Jose, CA and nephew Stephen Brooks.

Services will be held at 11 AM Sunday, July 26, 2015 in Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. Rabbi Joel Schwab will officiate. Interment will be in the Temple Sinai Cemetery, Circleville, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made in Renee's name to the charity of one's choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
