Philip Soultanakis

     Philip Soultanakis, a resident of the area for most of his life, entered into rest on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. He was 70 years of age.

    The son of the late George and Stavroula Dakis Soultanakis, he was born on May 4, 1947 in Manhattan, NY.

    Philip was a bus driver for Leprechaun Lines in Newburgh, NY. He was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Bullville, NY.

    Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Soultanakis at home in Middletown; his son John R. Soultanakis of Milford, PA; aunt Nancy Simadris; cousins Jeffrey & Marcella Simadris; and brothers-in-law Daniel & Frank Cannon. Philip was predeceased by his parents and sister Evangeline Soultanakis.

   Family and friends may call from 4-7 PM Wednesday, August 9th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 AM Thursday, August 10th, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 2800 Route 17K, Bullville, NY. Reverend Sean Harlow will officiate. Interment will follow in the Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Road, Middletown, NY.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
