Philip Klein

Philip Klein, a 35 year area resident, died Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. He was 87 years of age.

     The son of the late Irving and Anna Balsam Klein, he was born on June 24, 1937 in Jersey City, NJ.

     Philip had been employed as a chemist with Food & Drug Administration in Brooklyn, NY. He was a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown and was a dedicated member of the Jewish Community. He was a great friend and would help anyone in need and was helpful in community outreach. Philip was also into natural health and healing.

      Survivors include: his loving wife, Carol Klein at home in Middletown; his children, Daniel Klein of Brooklyn and Rebecca Klein of Middletown; his sister Shirley Strasfeld of Hoboken, NJ; and several nieces & nephews. Philip was predeceased by his son Michael Klein and brother Harry Klein.

    Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Sunday, December 22nd at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Route 302, Circleville, NY. Rabbi David Sislen will officiate.
