Mary Jane Helen Freeman

        Mary Jane Helen Freeman, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at her home in Middletown, NY. She was 80 years of age.

    The daughter of the late John I. and Margaret Dowling Edwards, she was born on August 6, 1941 in Goshen, NY.

    Mary had been an employee of Gilman’s Cleaners in Middletown until her retirement.

     Mary was a graduate of Chester High School in the Class of 1959 and a graduate of the Central Academy of Beauty Culture in the Class of 1960.

   Survivors include; her children, Margaret E. Miller and her husband Devin of Milford, DE, her step children, Harvey H. Freeman III and his wife Latanya of Palmdale, CA and Deborah Sickles of Port Jervis, NY; her grandchildren, Breanna, Justin, Connor, Jaxson, Hunter; step grandchildren, Danielle, Michelle, Demetrius, Harvey Jeremiah, Gabriel, Tiffany; great granddaughter, Silena; her siblings, Joseph Edwards of Chester, NY, Donald Edwards of North Carolina and Eileen Shanley of Goshen, NY; her nephew, Michael T. Shanley III. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Henry Freeman II on May 11, 2021.

    Graveside Services will be held 1 PM Friday, November 12th at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY. Reverend Carl Lunden will officiate.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
