Mary P. Apostle

Mary P. Apostle, a lifelong Middletown resident, entered into rest on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at her home in Middletown, NY. She was 98 years of age.

    The daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Apostolidu Apostle, she was born on May 24, 1926 in Middletown, NY.

    Mary was a retired stenographer for the Middletown Psychiatric Center and the Veterans Service Agency in Goshen and most recently worked in the Bursars Office at Orange County Community College as clerical support. She was a member of the Civil Service Employees Association, the Retired Public Employees Association and the OCCC Alumni Association. She attended Montclair State College in Upper Montclair, NJ and was a graduate of Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, NY.

   Survivors include: several cousins in Greece and State of Virginia, and Godson George Diakopoulos and his wife Toula of Middletown. Mary was predeceased by her brother Crist P. Apostle.

    Funeral Services will be held a 11 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 2250 Goshen Turnpike, Middletown, NY. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Middletown, NY
