Marilyn E. Heib, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her home in the Town of Greenville, NY. She was 82 years of age.
The daughter of the late Clyde and Madelyn Smith Butler, she was born on November 22, 1936 in Middletown, NY.
Marilyn retired from the Times Herald- Record in Middletown after working for over twenty years as a computer typist. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Middletown. Marilyn loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the time spent with them. She was also an avid reader.
Survivors include; her two sons, Gary L. Heib and his wife Susan of Burlington, KY and Chris C. Heib and his wife Bonnie of the Town of Greenville, NY; her four grandchildren, Chris C. Heib II and his wife Allison, Levi Heib and his wife Lindsey, Christopher A. Heib and his girlfriend Lindsay McGuire and Gianna M. Luposello and her husband Brandon; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband August L. Heib Jr. and her brothers Harry and Robert Butler.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, July 10th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 11th at the funeral home with Reverend William Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in the Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s name to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
