M. Randell Brown

M. Randell Brown, a 35 year area resident, entered into rest on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. He was 67 years of age.

The son of the late Mingo and Virginia Brown, he was born on November 6, 1947 in the Bronx, NY.

Randell retired from AT&T Wireless in Paramus, NJ where he was Director of Telecommunications. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1967-1971.

Survivors include: his loving wife Cheryl G. Brown at home in Washingtonville; his sons R. Erick Brown and his wife Aman of Weehawken, NJ, Brandon L. Brown of Manhattan, and Jared W. Brown and his wife Virgilia and their daughter Jayla of Hyde Park; his daughter Ria Barden and her husband Samuel of Maplewood, NJ; his sister Saundra Miyashiro of N.Y.C.; his mother-in-law Mildred Valentine of Washingtonville; sister-in-law Andrea Valentine of Queens and brother-in-law William D. Valentine of West Hartford, CT; his aunt Ada Richards of the Bronx; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Randell was predeceased by his parents, Mingo and Virginia Brown, brother Stanley Brown, sister Virginia Brown, father-in-law William Valentine and sister-in-law Robynne Valentine.

Friends may call at the Goodwill Church Historic Sanctuary, 2117 State Route 208, Montgomery, NY on Friday March 20, 2015 from 1-2 PM. Funeral Services will begin at 2 PM with Reverend Jose Rodriguez officiating.

Interment will be at a later date in the Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Randell's name to the Goodwill Church, 2135 State Route 208, Montgomery, NY 12549.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
