Laurence Fox Obituary

   Laurence L. Fox entered into rest on Saturday, September 14, 2024 while in hospice care at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was 84 years of age.

   Son of the late Sidney and Ruth Fox, he was born May 16, 1940 in Bronx, NY

Laurence served honorably in the Army and upon his return home he embarked on a career as a systems analyst, which was among a variety of jobs he held throughout his life. It was at this time he met and married the love of his life on June 29,1963 and they were married for over 61 years.

   Laurence graduated from Stuyvesant High School, attended college at the Colorado School of Mines and Bronx Community College.

   Survived by his loving wife Lucille Fox; his children Brian Fox and wife Dahlia Fox of Circleville, Daughter Nancy Fox (predeceased), Young Le and his wife, LiFA of the Bronx, Wah Le and his wife, Linh of Albany, Vinh Le and his wife, Hai, also of Albany

Brother Marc Fox and wife Ronnie Fox of Oradell, NJ

Sister Jeralyn Fox Scher-Sarnoff of Monroe Township, NJ; his grandchildren Joseph, Max, Sean, Newton, Vien, Khoa, Ivan, and Jeanluc.

And of course, his favorite grandpuppy, Sophie.

    Graveside services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 17th at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Route 302, Circleville, NY. Rabbi Emily Cobert will officiate.
