In the afternoon of May 22, 2024, Kenneth "Kenny" Lloyd Mann Sr. passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. He was 69 years old. Kenny served his country during the Vietnam era as a radio relay operator and Carrier Attendant, earning the National Defense Service Medal for his service. Following his military career, he worked at West Point, where he ultimately retired.
Kenny had a deep love for music, encompassing all genres. He was an accomplished drummer, notably performing in the Army Honor Guard band while stationed in Monterey, California. Kenny was the son of Frank and Esther Mann in Campbell Hall, NY. He is survived by his mother, Esther, his spouse, Margaret, his five children: Monikka, Kenneth, Elizabeth, Steven, and Greggory, as well as his seven grandchildren: Laura, Lillian, Sydney, Jayden, Kensei, Micah, and Alexander. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
In living his life, Kenny followed his passions and charted his own course, leaving behind a legacy of individuality and free will.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 1 PM Friday, May 31st at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY.
