Karen K. Larkin

   Karen K. Larkin, of Fort Lee NJ, and Middletown NY, a former employee of the Middletown Psychiatric Center, a Home Health Aid, and retiree from ShopRite in Middletown, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. She was 70 years old.

     The daughter of Archie A. Blakeslee and the late Marion E. Blakeslee, Karen was born on August 4, 1952 in Brooklyn NY.

     Karen graduated from Middletown High School class of 1971. Karen was a loving mother, daughter, and sister. She had a zest for life and a loving generous spirit. She enjoyed life to the fullest spending time with her family and loving companion. Karen had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed adding personal touches to all family events. She had a big heart and was thoughtful and friendly to all the people she met.

    She is survived by her son, Christopher Larkin from the state of Florida, her father Archie A. Blakeslee and his wife Maria Blakeslee, her longtime companion Ignacio Arellano (Iggy), sisters Helene Rielly and her husband James Rielly, Elvira Burr and her husband Thomas Burr, Roxane Blakeslee, Georgine Blakeslee, and her companion Gary Broadwell, along with several nieces and nephews and their children.

She was predeceased by her husband Gary Larkin, her mother Marion E. Blakeslee, her sister Rochelle Beach, and brother-in-law John Beach.

    A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-11 AM Friday, July 21st at Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM with

Reverend Jeffrey Farley officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Rd., Middletown, NY.
