Judith I. Gallagher

   Judith I. Gallagher, a 40 year area resident and formerly of Flatlands Bay and Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at her home in Middletown, NY. She was 79 years of age.

   The daughter of the late John Edward and Margaret Larson, she was born on June 13, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY.

   Judith was a retired registered nurse and formerly worked at Middletown Park Manor.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she formerly taught Sunday School.

    Survivors include: her husband William M. Gallagher at home in Middletown; her children, Karen E. Gallagher-Iverson and her husband Andrew of Oakland, CA, Susan M. Gallagher of Middletown, and Eileen M. Gallagher and her husband Sean Fotis of Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren, Lillian & Justine Iverson & Cecelia Fotis; her siblings, Linda Larson Brooks of Valrico, FL, her twin Alfred Larson and his wife Gail of Chuluota, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Judith was predeceased by her grandson Oliver Iverson.

   Cremation took place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

   Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 7th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 391 Mt. Hope Road, Middletown, NY. Pastor Ernest Mossl will officiate.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
