Joyce Ann Lemmerman

Joyce Ann Lemmerman, a longtime area resident, entered into rest on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. She was 81 years of age.

    The daughter of the late Anthony & Anna Silawsky, she was born on September 6, 1942 in New York City, NY.

   Joyce retired as the assistant manager of the Bank of New York at the Orange Plaza in Middletown. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Middletown.

    Survivors include: her children, Kristin J. Crance and her husband Stephen of Otisville, NY, James Michael Lemmerman and his partner Kim Lazio of Merritt Island, FL, and Juliann Morales and her husband Daniel of Milford, PA; her grandchildren, Keirstyn Yocum and husband Patrick, James Lemmerman, Logan Crance, Gavyn Crance & Tyler Lemmerman; her great grandchildren, James, Lily & Lucas Lemmerman. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, and her husband James Joseph Lemmerman.

    A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday, October 5th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY.

    Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

   Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
