Jose E. Ramirez

Jose E. Ramirez, a 20 year area resident and formerly of Queens, NY, entered into rest on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. He was 87 years of age.

     The son of the late Candelario and Francisca Reyes Ramirez, he was born on December 24, 1936 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.

     Jose had been employed as a courier for TNT Skypak in Queens, NY. He was a founding member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Queens.

     Survivors include: his children, David W. Ramirez and wife Hilaris, Michelle J. Ramirez and husband Jose D. Trinidad & Eric M. Ramirez and wife Veronica; his grandchildren, David Jr., Eric Jr., Liana, Daniel, Casey, Joe, Joshua, Emilia & Annabelle; his sisters, Noemi Ramirez and Loyda Ramirez. Jose was predeceased by his wife Irma Ramirez on October 24, 2012 and his sister Betsy Ramirez.

    A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-8 PM Friday, September 20th and 11AM- 1PM Saturday, September 21st at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Funeral services will begin at 1 PM.

    Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

    In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in his memory.
