Joann (Stokes) Odynsky

Joann Stokes Odynsky of Wilmington, NC and formerly of Middletown, NY entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at home surrounded by family. She was 90 years of age.

     Daughter of the late Joseph & Opel Stokes, she was born on May 18, 1934.

   Joann was a member of the Long Leaf Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

   Survivors include: her son Joseph; daughter, Diana Allgauer and husband Mark, as well as 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron “Joe”; daughter, Lana; sons Stephen & Michael and grandson, Denton.

   Graveside services will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 23rd in Howells Cemetery, Howells, NY

   Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown.
