Jeanne R. King

Jeanne R. King, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Saturday, May 25th at the Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 89 years of age.

     Daughter of the late Harold & Helen J. Benson King, she was born on May 18, 1935 in Danbury, CT.

     Jeanne retired from Orange & Rockland Utilities in Middletown where she employed as a secretary and bookkeeper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Middletown where she was a member of the Chancel Choir and also served as secretary and treasurer. Jeanne was also a member of the Middletown Chorale and former member of the Webb Horton Memorial Presbyterian Church.

    Survivors include several cousins.

    Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, May 30th at the Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Road, Middletown, NY. Reverend Jeffrey Farley will officiate.

   Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown.
