Hilda M. Ogden

   Hilda Ogden, a lifetime resident of Otisville entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 12, 2024. She would have been 98 in June of this year

    She lived a long and happy life and was finally reunited with her husband Art who passed away in 2011. She was a para-professional for many years in the Minisink School District.       She and Art loved traveling both abroad and in the U.S. They were snowbirds every winter to their condo in Florida. The beach was one of her favorite places to be other than with her family. We can say they had a near perfect marriage, devoted to each other for over 70 years. When Art passed, her heart was truly broken. Now they can reunite and rest in eternal peace.                                              She is survived by her three children and their spouses. Judy Sterling and her husband Doug, Art Ogden Jr and his wife Patti, and Debra Gabel and her husband Gary. She had 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who loved “grandma” and enjoyed spending time with her. There will be a celebration of her life for the whole family sometime this summer. She will be laid to rest in Otisville next to Art.
