Harvey Henry Freeman II

   Harvey Henry Freeman II, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Sapphire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Goshen, NY. He was 88 years of age.

    The son of the late Harvey Henry and Delilah Freeman, he was born on July 1, 1932 in Goshen, NY.

   Harvey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a Senior Parole Officer with the New York State Department of Corrections in the Bronx, NY. Harvey was a member of the American Legion Post 151 in Middletown.

    Survivors include; his wife, Mary Jane Freeman at home in Middletown; his children, Deborah Sickles of Port Jervis, Harvey H. Freeman III and his wife Latanya of Palmdale, CA, and Margaret Miller and her husband Devin of Milford,DE; his grandchildren, Danielle, Michelle, Demetrius, Harvey Jeremiah, Gabriel, Tiffany, Breanna, Jay, Connor, Jaxson & Hunter; and 10 great grandchildren.

     Graveside Services with military honors will be held 1 PM Tuesday, May 18th at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY. The Reverend Carl Lunden will officiate.

 Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
