H. Karoline Joseph

H. Karoline Joseph, a four year resident of Voorhees, N.J. and 40 year resident of Bullville, died Sunday March 13, 2005 at Care One in Moorestown, N.J. She was 80.

The daughter of Max Thalheimer and Dora Ebstein Thalheimer, she was born May 15, 1924 in Stuttgart, Germany.

She was the widow of Manfred Joseph, with whom she helped operate a dairy farm in Bullville, N.Y. for 40 years.

Karoline was a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown; was a member of the Sisterhood of Temple Sinai and of Hadassah.

She is survived by two sons, Mark S. Joseph and his wife, Lisa, of Voorhees, N.J., and Eli J. Joseph and his wife, Susan, of Marlton, N.J.; six grandchildren: Mitchell, Alyssa, Jason, Craig, Max and Carly; one sister, Berta Goetz of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Hans Thalheimer and his wife, Nelly, of Huntingdon Valley, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will he held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday March 15, 2005 in Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Ave., Middletown, N.Y., with Rabbi Joel Schwab officiating.

Interment will be at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Circleville, N.Y.
