Gloria A. Kaczmar, a life long resident of Middletown, N.Y., died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus, Middletown. She was 72.
Daughter of Harold Edsall and Agnes Buchannan Edsall, she was born August 3, 1934 in Unionville, N.Y.
She worked as a cook manager at the Jones and Martin Nursing Home in Middletown, N.Y. for 8 years and then was a cook and dietary manager at the Orange County Home for Aged Women, later known as Southwinds, for 18 years.
She was a member of Webb Horton Memorial Presbyterian Church, Middletown, N.Y., member and past President of the Dietary Managers Association, and member of the Business and Professional Women's Association.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Frank Kaczmar at home in Middletown, N.Y.; three daughters: Sharlene Kaczmar and her companion, Joe of Spokane, Wash., Bernadeen DeNuzzia and her husband, Michael of Circleville, N.Y., and Katherine Darling and her companion, Julio Borges of Middletown, N.Y.; two sisters, Betty Fillios of Woburn, Mass. and Dolores Pingotti and her husband, Fred of Middletown, N.Y.; one brother, Roland Edsall and his wife, Kitty of Woodbourne, Ore.; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Glen, Robert, Matthew, Andrew, and Michael; seven great-grandchildren: Katelynn, Crystal Lee, Julisa, Dante, Legacy, Mia, and Bella, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Milton Edsall; two sisters, Audrey Martin and Rita Wilson, and one grandson, William Darling.
Visitation will be private. Funeral services will be private. The Rev. Kenneth Wonderland will officiate. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, N.Y.
