Geri Adelstein

        Geri Adelstein, a 47 year area resident, died Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 71 years of age.

    The daughter of the late Harold and Edyse Levy, she was born on September 13, 1949 in Manhattan, NY.

   Geri was a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown and a member and past president of the Sisterhood of Temple Sinai. She was always the first mom to volunteer at any of her children’s school events.

   Survivors include;  her children, Micah Adelstein and his wife Stacy of Plainview, NY, Adam Adelstein of Middletown, Rachel Adelstein and her husband Cirano Paredes of Middletown, and Johanna Adelstein also of Middletown; her grandchildren, Sydney, Eli, Karter & Oliver. She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband Lawrence S. Adelstein.

    Graveside Services will be held at 1 PM Sunday, February 21st in Temple Sinai Cemetery, Route 302, Circleville, NY. Rabbi Marcus Rubenstein and Rabbi Joel Schwab will officiate.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence S. Adelstein Endowment Fund at Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY 10940.
