Gary M. Matoren

Gary M. Matoren, a former resident of Middletown, NY died on Friday, May 30, 2025 at his home in East Brunswick, NJ with his daughter Bonnie at his side. He was 87 years of age.

     The son of the late Frank and Mary Finerman Matoren, he was born on March 3, 1938 in Bronx, NY.

    Gary was a pharmacist (retired) and Health Care Executive for over 50 years in healthcare administration, pharmacy practice, consulting and academic appointments, editor and author. He was a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown, NY.

     Survivors include: his daughter, Bonnie Lisa Matoren of Gainesville, FL; brother Harvey Joel Matoren of Jacksonville, FL; nephews Steven and Brian Matoren; numerous cousins and friends. Gary was predeceased by his daughter Debbie Lynn Matoren and his former wife Susan M. Matoren.

    Graveside Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 4th at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Route 302, Circleville, NY. Rabbi David Sislen will officiate.
