Frieda Rothberg

Frieda Rothberg of Middletown, NY died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 90 years of age.

The daughter of the late Sam and Eva Minowitz Kurland, she was born on April 28, 1925 in New York, NY.

Frieda had been employed as a teacher's aide for the New York City School System.

Survivors include her daughter, Helen Rothberg and her husband Dr. Alexander Fruchter of Middletown; her son Russell Rothberg and his wife Vera Wagman of Los Angeles, CA; step grandchild Zoe Fruchter; her sister, Sally Prosky of the State of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Martin Rothberg on November 19, 2012.

Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. Rabbi Joel Schwab will officiate. Interment will be in the Temple Sinai Cemetery, Circleville, NY.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
