Frederick H. Ehlermann

Frederick H. Ehlermann, a 42 year area resident, entered into rest on Monday, December 30, 2024 at his home in Westtown, NY. He was 80 years of age.  

     The son of the late Henry F. and Lenore Reiger Ehlermann, he was born on April 25, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio.

    Fred was the owner and operator of F & E Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Inc. in Middletown, NY. Fred proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Fred was a member of the German-American Club.

     Survivors include: his 3 sons, Michael F. Ehlermann and his wife Jane, Mark R. Ehlermann and his wife Erin & Matthew H. Ehlermann and his wife Daphne; his grandchildren, Ashlee Ehlermann, Jacquilin, Joseph & Jasmine West, Andrew & Ryan Ehlermann, Danielle, Brayden & Ember Ehlermann; his great grandchildren, David & Aria Kurtz; his sisters, Marlene Baldauf & Alma Williamson; and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Fred was predeceased by his grandson Tanner Ehlermann, sisters Meta Knous & Barbara MacClintock and brother Franklin Ehlermann.

    Cremation took place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

    Interment of cremains with Military Honors will be in the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
