Fabian A. Thompson

     Fabian A. Thompson, 23 year area resident, entered into rest on Monday, March 25, 2024 at his home in Middletown, NY. He was 60 years of age.

     The son of Phyllis Thompson and the late Beresford Thompson, he was born on February 26, 1964 in Kingston, Jamaica.

     Fabian recently retired from the New York State Department of Corrections Bedford Hills Facility, Bedford Hills, NY. He was a member of N.Y.S.C.O.P.B.A and he also enjoyed hunting.

     Survivors include: his loving wife, Colleen Thompson at home; his children, Fabian Thompson Jr., Chauncy Thompson, & Christina Thompson all of Middletown; his grandson Emoury Gadson; his mother, Phyllis Thompson; his siblings, Winsome Powell, Jexroy Williams, Denver Thompson & Fay McCormick; and numerous nieces & nephews.

    A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-5 PM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Funeral services will begin at 5 PM.

    Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
