Elaine G. Seifert

   Elaine G. Seifert, a 45 year area resident, entered into rest on Friday, December 1, 2017 at her home in Middletown, NY. She was 73 years of age.

    The daughter of the late Eduardo and Antoinette Tedesco Gutierrez, she was born on November 18, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY.

   Elaine was employed as an inserter at the Times Herald-Record in Middletown. She was also a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Middletown.

    Survivors include her children, Joyce L. Seifert and her companion William Hassler of Washingtonville, Christa Alicea and her husband Richard of Middletown, and Roy E. Seifert of Middletown; her grandchildren, Ashley Pagan, Sean Bolding and Peyton Hassler; her great grandchildren, Cameron Pagan, Mariah Soto and Gianna Pagan; and several nieces and nephews.  Elaine was predeceased by her husband Roy Seifert and brothers Eduardo and Donald  Gutierrez.

    Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh, NY.

    Family and friends may visit from 5-8 PM Friday, Dec. 8th, at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY.

     A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, Dec. 9th at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY. Interment of the ashes will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery immediately following Mass.

    Memorial contributions in Elaine’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 121 Executive Drive, New Windsor, NY 12553.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
