Dale Deering Connell

Dale Deering Connell, a former resident of Pine Bush, Rome, NY and Malone, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Cooperstown, NY. He was 75 years of age.

     The son of Delford Charles Connell and the late Beverly M. Connell, he was born on December 1, 1948 in Goshen, NY.

    Dale graduated from Pine Bush High School in the Class of 1967 and also attended Orange County Community College.

     Dale proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was an accomplished musician playing piano, organ, saxophone and clarinet. He studied piano during his school years with the late Morris Borenstein of Middletown.

     Survivors include: his father, Delford Charles Connell and his wife Betty Beach-Connell;

his children, Rachel Bray and her husband Glen, Aaron Connell and his wife Wendy and Joanna Mobley and her husband Jeff; his grandchildren, Megan Martin and her husband Tommy, Katelynn Allison and her husband Taylor, Bailey Bray and his fiancé Abigail Bishop, Austin Connell, Dakota Connell, Shauna Connell, Sara Connell, Daniel Connell, Ashley Felty and her husband Cody, Jason Rich Jr., Hunter Mobley; his great grandchildren, T.J. Martin, Brayden Martin and Jasiah Rivera; his niece Heidi Kleister and nephew Darren Connell; his brother, Dean Connell and his wife Laura Anne, sister Donna Kleister and her husband Richard and brother Daryl Connell and his wife Vickie; and several cousins. Dale was predeceased by his mother Beverly M. Connell.

    Funeral services will be held privately and interment with Military Honors will be in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
