Constance B. McDonald

         Constance B. McDonald, a 33 year Middletown resident, entered into rest on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY. She was 79 years of age.

     The daughter of the late Phillip and Ida Pontillo D’Andrea, she was born on January 4, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY.

     Constance had been employed as a Nuclear Medicine Technician with Maimonidies Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown.

      Survivors include: her husband, Robert H. McDonald; her children, Robert McDonald and his wife Pamela of Georgia, Constance Kowalewski of Ellenville, George McDonald of Litchfield Park, AZ, and Brenda Foss and her husband Phil of Ellenville; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Kowalewski, Sean McDonald, Robert McDonald, Anya Smith, Katherine McDonald and Laura McDonald; and great grandchild Luna Denbow; and several nieces & nephews. Constance was predeceased by her parents, and her sister Marie Howarth and brother-in-law Bernard Howarth.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 AM Thursday, June 16th at St. Joseph’s Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Middletown.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
