Caroline M. Kleister, a homemaker, and longtime resident of the area, entered into rest on Monday, September 3, 2007, at O.R.M.C., Arden Hill Campus in Goshen, N.Y. She was 75 years old.
The daughter of the late Frederick & Bertha Gesbrecht Raute, she was born August 5, 1932 in Westwood, N.J. She was the wife of George R. Kleister, who resides at home.
She was a member of the Community Church of Wurtsboro in Wurtsboro, N.Y.
In addition to her husband, George, Caroline is survived by a son, Richard J. Kleister & his wife, Donna of Anderson, S.C.; daughter, Robin K. Reynolds & her husband, Gene of Montgomery; her granddaughter, Heidi L. Kleister of Philadelphia, Pa., and several nieces & nephews. Caroline was predeceased by her two brothers, Frederick & Robert Raute.
Friends may call the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, N.Y. on Thursday, September 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 7, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend Robert Meyer will officiate. Interment will follow in Hurleyville Cemetery in Hurleyville, N.Y.
