Carol Klein

Carol Klein a resident of the area for over 50 years, died Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 69 years of age.

   The daughter of the late Henley and Nathalie Meltzer, she was born on July 23, 1956 in the Bronx, NY.

    Carol was a retired Registered Nurse and also a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown.

     Survivors include: her children, Daniel Klein and Rebecca Klein both of Middletown; her brother Steven Meltzer and his wife Terry of Manhattan; and niece, Laura Meltzer. Carol was predeceased by her parents, her husband Philip Klein, son Michael Klein, and brother Robert Meltzer.

    Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 23rd at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Route 302, Circleville, NY. Rabbi David Sislen will officiate.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
