Barbara Gail Sherman

  Barbara Gail Sherman, a 28 year area resident, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 64 years of age.

    The daughter of Marvin Bromberg and the late Vivian Bromberg, she was born on October 30, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY.

     Barbara was formerly a banker with the Middletown Savings Bank in Middletown. She was a member of Temple Sinai in Middletown and a member of the Sisterhood of Temple Sinai. Barbara was a member the Interfaith Council and the Crop Walk.

    Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Sherman at home in Middletown; her son, Scott R. Sherman of Buffalo, NY; her father, Marvin Bromberg of Tamarac, FL; her brother Donald Bromberg and his wife Ellen Spahn-Bader of Boynton Beach. FL; and nieces, Lisa Bromberg and Allison Bromberg. Barbara was predeceased by her mother Vivian Bromberg.

    Graveside Services will be held at 12 Noon on Sunday, July 16th at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Route 302, Circleville, NY. Rabbi Marcus Rubenstein will officiate.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
