Barbara J. Bowns

     Barbara J. Bowns, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 71 years of age.

    The daughter of the late Leonard and Jenny Call, she was born on June 30, 1945 in Nyack, NY.
    Barbara had been employed as a machine operator at Risdon Plastics in Middletown.

    Survivors include: her sister, Patricia A. Shields and her husband Robert of Rockford, IL; nephew, David Shields of Rockford, IL; two nieces, Eileen Cellitti and her husband Anthony of Rockford, IL and Deborah Olson and her husband Robert of Machesney Park, IL; two great nephews, Jacob and Kyle and great niece Emily. Barbara was predeceased by her brother John Call and her companion William Spencer.
    Family and friends are invited to join us for a graveside service 3 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Road, Middletown, NY. Reverend Jeffrey Farley will officiate.

   Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
