Ausma Lagzdins

        Ausma Lagzdins, a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

     Ausma was born on February 26, 1934 and was 87 years of age at the time of her passing.

     Her dedication to her family, her strength and courage and unwaivering Faith in God were an inspiration to us all. She will be greatly missed and she will live on in our hearts forever.

      She leaves behind her daughters, Sindra Abbate of Tannersville, NY and Ingrid Depew and her husband Ray of  Middletown, NY; her grandchildren, Kerry Gonzalez and wife Jennifer, Andrew Zweig and John Abbate; her great grandchildren, Christopher Lagzdins, Lucas Gonzalez, Logan Gonzalez and Paul Masucci. Ausma was predeceased by her husband Talivaldis Lagzdins, daughter Ruth Dorr, granddaughters Charise Gonzalez and Tracy Zweig and brother Eglis Balodis.

    A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM Friday, January 28th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Don Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Greene County Department  of the Aging or Christian Charities.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
