Anne Poshadel, a 9 year resident of Atlanta, GA and formerly longtime resident of Mt. Hope, NY, passed into the arms of her beloved Jesus on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was 90 years of age.
The daughter of the late Charles and Frances Marot Miazgowicz, she was born on July 8, 1925 in Clifton, NJ.
Anne had been employed as a food service worker at Orange County Community College and formerly employed for many years as a teletype operator with Western Union.
Anne was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown. She was a member of the Otisville Grange and the Pomona Grange and had served as a 4-H leader. She was also instrumental in organizing the Otisville-Mt. Hope Volunteer Ambulance Corp
.
Anne was a beloved mother and grandmother, kind and giving, and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her son, Charles A. Poshadel and his wife Linda of Goshen; her daughters, RoseAnne Livingston and her husband Vincent of Tyler Hill, PA, and Dorothy Rehg and her husband James of Atlanta, GA; her 11 grandchildren, Andy Poshadel, PhD, Jeremy Livingston, Josh Livingston, Joe Livingston, Rachel Livingston, Ben Koopman, Dave Koopman, Isaac Rehg, Amelia Rehg, Katherine Rehg and Ethan Rehg. Anne was predeceased by her husband Albert A. Poshadel, her daughter Mary Koopman, sisters Celeste and Stella Miazgowicz, and her brothers Walter, Joseph, Frank and Ted Maret and Robert Miazgowicz.
Friends may call at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY on Sunday, September 20th from 3-5 PM.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9:30 AM Monday, September 21st at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Ave., Middletown, NY. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Middletown.
