Ann Marie Arciero, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 80 years of age.
The daughter of the late Edward and Antoinette Kurtz, she was born on May 14, 1942 in Port Jervis, NY.
Ann had been employed as a bus driver for the Goshen School District and formerly employed for many years at the Middletown Veterinary Hospital.
Survivors include: her two sons, Scott S. Arciero and his wife Denise of Middletown and Mark M. Arciero and his wife Kelly also of Middletown; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; her adopted siblings Alice Ford & Ro McNamee. Ann was predeceased by her husband Joseph T. Arciero, son Gregory R. Arciero, her siblings John, James, Harold, Joseph, Charles, Neal & David Kurtz, Dorothy Titus, Carol Paulish, Jean Cortright, Mary Kurtz, Lorraine Kurtz, Paula Warren Majka and her adopted family members Joseph & Florence Orrio.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.
A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-7 PM Friday, November 18th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Graveside interment of Ann’s cremains will take place 11 AM Saturday, November 19th at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 105-109 Railroad Ave. Montgomery, NY.
