Angelina Ann Speirs

Angelina Ann Speirs, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Valley View Center in Goshen, NY. She was 94 years of age.

     Daughter of the late Vincent and Santa Como Marceano, she was born on December 14, 1929 in Middletown, NY.

     Angie had been employed as a monitor at the Mechanicstown School. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Middletown, a member of the Orange Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and the Professional Business Women of Goshen.

    Survivors include: her sons, William Y. Speirs III of Jupiter, FL, Peter Michael Speirs of Fate, TX and John Francis Speirs of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren Eric, Andrew, Austin, Maria, Aryssa , Angelina & Elena; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.  Angie was predeceased by her husband William Y. Speirs Jr., siblings Joseph, Grace, Frances, Vincent, Rose, Mary, Cosmo & Anthony.

    Cremation took place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

    A visitation for family and friends will be held from 7-9 PM Tuesday, July 30th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 31st at St. Joseph’s Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY. Interment of cremains will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones’ choice.

   Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown.
