Allan Markle

ALLAN MARKLE Middletown, N.Y. Allan Markle, a 62-year area resident, and retired employee of Classy Leather Goods in Middletown and former baker with the Warwick Bakery, Warwick, died Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, Middletown. He was 79. The son of Thomas Markle and Lillian VanGelder Markle, he was born July 16, 1925 in Sussex, N.J. Survivors include three brothers, Everett W. Markle of New Hampton, Harvey Markle of Middletown, Harold Markle of Hoboken, N.J.; seven nephews; and two nieces. He was predeceased by brothers, Theodore and Donald Markle. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, December 6 at the Cornelius, Dodd and Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Peter Johnson will officiate. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon Township, N.J., following cremation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Cornelius, Dodd and Connell Funeral Home.
