William Soto

William Soto a longtime resident of Brooklyn, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Samuel S. Stratton V.A. Medical Center in Albany, NY. He was 60 years of age.

    The son of the late Agapito and Brunilda Rodriguez Soto, he was born on December 31, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY.

   William had been employed as a financial analyst at Lehman Brothers in Manhattan, NY. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1975 -1978.

    Survivors include his wife Onruetai Mirinda Soto of Brooklyn, NY; his sister, Marilyn Marquez and her husband Delby of Middletown; his brother, Jose Mendez and his wife Irma of Westtown, NY; two nieces, Keisha Mendez and Melissa Thurston and two nephews, Jose Mendez Jr. and David Livingston.

    Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3-5 PM Sunday, February 11th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will begin at 5 PM with Reverend Alejandro Sanchez officiating, followed by military honors.

    Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
