Shirley Grebeldinger, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. She was 91 years of age.
The daughter of the late Archie B. and Grace House, she was born on November 4, 1927 in Middletown, NY.
Shirley retired as a secretary from the Mid-Hudson Psychiatric Center in New Hampton. She was a lifetime and active member of the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church and formerly served as the church secretary. Shirley was also a member of the CSEA. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved having her grandchildren and great grandchildren around.
Survivors include; her husband, Arthur Grebeldinger at home in Otisville; her sons, Randy Grebeldinger and his wife Betsey of Madbury, NH, Mark Grebeldinger and his wife Ginny of Otisville and Jeffrey Grebeldinger and his fiancé Lisa VanOrden of Otisville; her grandchildren, Brian Grebeldinger and his wife Friederike, Crystal Cardone and husband B.J., Andrew (A.J.) Grebeldinger and his wife Ashley and Lindsey Grebeldinger-Stewart and her husband Joshua; her great grandchildren Lilly, Lina, Calla, Caylee, Avery and Ashlyn; her sister Eileen Siegel of Simsbury, CT. Shirley was predeceased by her brother Ralph House.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday, January 17th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 18th at the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church, Main St., Otisville, NY. Reverend Jeffrey Farley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Plains Cemetery in Otisville.
