Roberta B. Cousin

   Roberta B. Cousin, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Middletown Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Middletown, NY. She was 103 years of age.

    The daughter of the late William John and Leila Bennett Cooper, she was born on March 30, 1914 in Bullville, NY.

   Roberta had been employed as a bank teller and had retired from KeyBank in Circleville. She was a member of the Bullville United Methodist Church and was a devoted fan of the stock car races at the Orange County Fair Speedway.

   The family would like to thank the staff of Middletown Park for the wonderful care given to Roberta during her stay with them.

    Roberta was the last of 13 children and she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Edward W. Cousin on March 27, 2007 and by 12 brothers and sisters.

     Graveside Services will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Bullville Cemetery, Bullville, NY. Reverend Matthew Querns will officiate.

     Memorial contributions in Roberta’s name may be made to the Bullville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 211, Bullville, NY 10915 or to the charity of one’s choice.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
