Nancy B. (Predmore) Schumaci, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Valley View Center, in Goshen, NY. She was 86 years of age.
The daughter of the late Ralph and Rose DiBari Patruno, she was born on March 13, 1932 in Long Beach, NY.
Nancy was a homemaker and a former waitress in Middletown. Nancy was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Middletown and a member of the Golden Age Seniors at Mulberry House, the Fun Time Bowling League at Middletown Lanes, the Seniors Wednesday Afternoon Card Party, the Seniors Bowling League at Middletown Lanes and held a widows membership to the Elks.
The family would like to thank her doctors and the nurses and support staff at Orange Regional Medical Center, Hamispek Home Care, her personal caregivers (especially Roxanne), and the Valley View staff for their attentive and compassionate care.
Survivors include: her sons, Todd M. Predmore and his wife Michele of Middletown, and Timm L. Predmore of Middletown; her step-son, Frank Schumaci and his wife Mary; her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Sami Predmore, Frank J. III, Anthony and Karla Schumaci and Rachele Rosaneli; great grandchildren Paolo and Alyssa Rosaneli, Timothy Flannery and his wife Victoria and Malani Predmore; her sister, Philomena VanSciver and husband Kenneth of Middletown, and numerous nieces & nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. Schumaci on September 25, 2005 and her brother Sam R. Patruno.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-9 PM Friday, December 28th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY. Interment will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Middletown.
Memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 121 Executive Drive, New Windsor, NY 12553.
